The Tongue-Cut Sparrow

Based on a Japanese fable, The Tongue-Cut sparrow is a two level platformer in which the player must traverse a bamboo forest. In each level, the player takes on the role of first Satoru, a kind old man with a skill for herbalism, and his wife Hidemi, a grumpy old woman with a fukiya to help clear her path. 

Keyboard Controls:

• WASD or Arrow Keys to move
• Spacebar to jump
• Satoru: E to gather herb
• Hidemi: Q to shoot fukiya, E to chop bamboo (after picking up the axe)
