Alchemy (Prototype)

Shrum runs a small potion vending shop, brewing potions for many a witch that come to visit him. As you go about your day, you can also use the potions that you create, for various buffs and debuffs that affect your work.

Controls:

• B: Open recipe book
• A, S, D, F: Add ingredient to pot
• Left/Right Arrow Keys: Move potion cursor
• Up Arrow Key: Serve potion
• Down Arrow Key: Use potion

Alchemy is inspired by games like Cook, Serve, Delicious!, and Epistory - Typing Chronicles which turn the keyboard into a complex controller. Ideally, the game would demand attention and multitasking to get higher scores. In the future, I'd be interested in adding a mechanic to clean the pot to prevent random fizzling of potions, more ingredients, potions, and recipe pages, multiple customers at a time, and alternate gameplay to gather ingredients and recipes over time.
